On June 21, 2007 The IITS administration decided to REMOVE all paper cups from the coffee machine and to STOP BUYING styrofoam cups.

From now on, all employees will need to use a mug to get a coffee from the coffee machine.

The mug project can now be extended to coffee (beverage) out side the office.

Objective:

Encourage people to use a mug to drink all their beverage.... water, coffee, etc.

Reduce paper cup waste and styrofoam cup waste.

Instructions on using your mug in the IITS coffee machine:

Before selecting your beverage...
Lift up plastic door and place your mug inside the machine.
Make sure the red light shines on your mug.
If the light does not shine on your mug, try placing something underneath to elevate it (like the metal cover of the paper cups holder on the water cooler!).
Enter your beverage selection.

Drink responsibly, use a mug!
